Like a timeless wardrobe, your home needs to be assembled with care and quality materials, reflecting your style and personality, while functioning as if it were tailor-made to your budget and lifestyle.
— Lisa Skripps, owner | principal designer

With a bachelors degree in Fashion Design and Marketing, and years of working in the fashion industry, Lisa Skripps has always had a natural affinity and eye for style and design. Her experience as a buyer has ranged from a large retailer, a fashion designer, and a high-end golf resort in the West, as well as a personal stylist for Henri Bendel and Saks Fifth Avenue.  As the buyer and merchandiser for an award-winning Arizona golf resort, Lisa became drawn to her true passion… interior design.

Starting in the planning stages of the clubhouse, Lisa had the opportunity to work closely with a prominent interior designer and a furniture manufacturer to pull the vision together.  She learned first-hand how to interpret someone else’s decorating style from her own.  In addition to buying for and merchandising the shop, Lisa was responsible for purchasing decor and styling the entire resort for holidays, special events and beyond. Over the years while designing several of her own homes, Lisa became an interior design resource for her family and friends.

After transitioning out of the fashion industry to spend more time with her family, Lisa earned her real estate license and worked for Sotheby’s. After staging her client’s homes for sale and previewing new ones with them, they began asking for assistance with floor plans, paint colors and renovation ideas for their next home. She began helping other Sotheby’s Realtors to stage their client’s homes for sale. As much as she enjoyed the buying and selling process, she had more fun helping people turn their house into a home. In 2018, Lisa started Linen & Lantern as a side hustle to service her real estate clients with their design needs and staging. Within a year, Linen & Lantern became her full time career.

In addition to her fashion design and marketing degree and real estate license, Lisa completed certifications in interior redesign, home staging and as a color expert.

After 20 plus years of New England living and Summers spent going to the coast, Lisa relocated back to the Phoenix area with her husband, three sons and three dogs. She has been honored to touch homes throughout Massachusetts, Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Florida and Arizona.

  • what clients are saying...

Lisa helped me stage my home for sale prior to her becoming a realtor. She has a great eye and knows what a buyer is looking for. Her expertise helped me sell my home quickly and at asking price. Lisa is naturally curious and loves to get to know her clients so she can really help them find what they are looking for.
